The Project Manager is the primary customer contact and leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Proven ability to manage the project, fully accountable for the execution, and being the owner of customer experience (Quality, OTD, Responsiveness), as well as the operational results (CM, Cost, Cash);
Stakeholders and Customer management Primary customer contact. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate Responsible for project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout Lead project team, including partners, through contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate Overall project ownership and responsibility for managing OTR matrix teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance and Services Qualifications/Requirements:
Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Fluent in English, both written and spoken Experience minimum 3 years as Project Manager Project Management Skills Presentation and Communication skills Contract management knowledge Contract Terms and Conditions knowledge Basic Financial Knowledge High energy level - self-starter Technical knowledge of product lines and associated systems Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks.
Leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization.
Ability to influence others teams Ability to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies / remedies.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
Project Management related certification Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead multi-functional and multi-cultural teams.
Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
