The effects of these macro trends on TTS business is evidenced by our clients' demand for consistent solutions across geographies, more real time services and greater financial as well as operating efficiency. While TTS maintains a robust basket of traditional products and an excellent network, it is critical for us to leverage our core capabilities (products and network) to deliver holistic solutions that cut across our internal boundaries to best fit clients' needs.
Local Market Management serves between front office (Sales) and Product to ensure that client demand is well fitted with our underlying products. After its initial year of strong execution, via this role, GMM is poised to support TTS in its strategic investment ask objectives. The position will report to Head of Local Liquidity Services in Brazil and/or one of his senior direct reports with key functional pillar responsibilities.
Garner transactional flow data to develop and enhance analytical tools and models that enable data drive structuring of complex Local/global solutions and informed decision making for TTS MNC and EMC clients. The large and complex TTS operating environment possesses unique challenges, and this key role will assume the role of working with a wide range of stakehoders across TTS organization (product management, sales, technology, data management, treasury advisory etc) to bring to market business critical data driven solutions and tools.
End-to-end project management of identified solution or tool development or enhancement projects. This includes Business Requirements, User Validation, Sales / Product Alignment, and content / tool design and development.
Manage key relationships across stakeholder groups to garner data and leverage it to create actionable intelligence. This role will receive guidance from senior market managers and SMEs to succeed in developing relevant and revenue accretive solutions.
Work with product partners to support key investment initatives within TTS in growth pockets including ecommerce, blockchain, virtual accounts, cross border solutions etc.
Work closely with Sales partners on complex global client deals by deploying market management solutions and tools.
Local Market Management provides a unique opportunity for learning the whole spectrum of TTS businesses and in gaining a direct understanding of how our clients consume our products and network. This will prepare the individual for more senior and client facing roles within MM, and will position him/her extremely well for Product or Sales roles. Lastly the innovative nature of this function will enable the candidate to stay abreast of the latest and greatest in technology, innovation and client trends - invaluable for career enhancement.
Qualifications Eagerness to understand client trends and distill them for mass consumption and direct business impact;
Analytical abilities to garner and analyze data within sophisticated economic models - building and deplyment. Strong comfort with data and analysis. Proficiency in modeling, macros, VBA, and database a plus;
Knowledge of cash and treasury management and a good working knowledge of the TTS business, balance sheet, revenue drivers, and products;
Developing or established understanding of innovations and disruptive technologies in the cash management space;
5 years prior product development, market management or corporate sales experience in banking and/or technology companies, but we are open minded to a wide range of skillsets, even totally unrelated to the function in the case of exceptional candidates;
Comfortable to interact with business seniors;
Strong abilities to gather consensus on priorities and drive initiatives;
Proficiency in PowerPoint, excel and analytical skills a must;
Desire to challenge the conventional, own a problem, bring others on board and drive the firm to creating solutions;
Ability to work across direct and virtual teams cutting across silos and boundaries, with ability to focus on driving value for client and Citi. Team player;
Strong communication skills, ability to articulate complex ideas and analytics in succinct and easy to grasp form;
Bachelor’s required; MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
